Field notes

Field notes board

Short, dated travel notes from around Aberdeen and the North-East — a walk, a day trip, a plan for a wet afternoon. Newest notes are posted at the top of the board.

The field notes complement the trip guide. Where guide pages are kept general and up to date, each note describes one outing or idea at the time it was written, so check timetables and opening arrangements before you follow one. Every note links back to the relevant checklist steps and venue pages.

Rows show the note number, the date it was posted, its title and a one-line summary. Select a title to read the full note.
